went square dancing tonight
some classmate roped me into square dancing at a church in temple city. out of ~30 people, three were under the age of forty, three were non-white. everyone was incredibly friendly. a sincere, welcoming friendly - not the uncomfortable, quiet bewildered sort you get when you ask what exactly is in a “country breakfast” at rod’s grill. i’m going back next week.
